All types are free of halogen.

Flame retardant cable types

Smaller cable types are mainly used for indoor cabling within buildings and public areas with high passenger traffic such as train stations, airports and shopping centres. In these areas, the flame propagation must be restricted and low-smoke and zero-halogen emissions are required. All types are passing the IEC 60332-3 flame test successfully. For applications with higher safety requirements, some cables are available as UL listed types.

UL Listing

The cable types listed by UL (Underwriter Laboratories Inc.) meet the requirements for the use as riser cables in CM or CATV applications.

CM: Coaxial cables for telephone and other communication circuits such as voice and data for on-premise customer systems.
CATV: Coaxial cables for the distribution of radio-reception and television-reception signals from a community antenna or a cable-TV company. Another application is the supply of low-energy power at a potential not exceeding 60 volts to equipment directly associated with the signal distribution.

All cable types are available either as raw cable or as ready-to-use cable assembly according to your specifications.
