Print viewIntermodulation Measurement

The level of intermodulation (IM) is a critical factor influencing signal quality and performance of cellular systems. Trouble-free operation of Networks is ensured when the used components maintain a high interference signal distance for the third-order intermodulation better than -155dBc. We started investigating the subject of intermodulation at a very early stage and have gained much experience in component design and we are equipped with an in-house intermodulation test set-up. HUBER+SUHNER offers components designed for low intermdoluation values and stability.

Intermodulation Test Leads
LISCA Test Leads assemblies are specially designed for use with intermodulation (IM) test equipment. The excellent performance is achieved by utilising corrugated SUCOFEED cables with low intermodulation connectors and a controlled assembly process with HUBER+SUHNER solder technology. LISCA stands for Low Loss and Low Intermodulation Soldered Corrugated Cable Assemblies

Intermodulation Adaptors
These low intermodulation adaptors have been specially developed for applications in intermodulation test set-ups. They are made of non-magnetic materials using a minimum number of piece parts to minimize Intermodulation sources.

Intermodulation Terminations
These loads are used in any critical Test+Measurement intermodulation environment. They close the isolated port of Hybrid couplers ideally.

Intermodulation Standards
Intermodulation Standards are special 7/16 adaptors which deliberately produce Intermodulation (+/- 3dBm). They are used to quick-check Intermodulation test bench. If the value displayed by the test bench does not correspond to the value shown in the HUBER+SUHNER standard, this means that the test bench is potentially out of order and should therefore be returned to the supplier.
