DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Develop, implement and coordinate a lean manufacturing culture including identifying best practices and leveraging across the business. Oversee management of all areas of Manufacturing and Logistics to produce products and direct activities so that approved products are manufactured and delivered on-schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives. Direct quality assurance, environmental and manufacturing engineering activities for North America and facility maintenance and safety programs for Essex. Responsible for the design, development and improvement of products and processes in accordance with established objectives.
Qualifications: Technical Bachelor degree required. 12+ years experience in manufacturing environment with increasing career advancement movement, preferably in a process-oriented operations and/or related industry. Minimum 5 years experience managing a significant segment of a large manufacturer or the entire operation of a smaller manufacturer. Must have a background in Lean Manufacturing principles. Proven ability to lead people and get results from others. Proven experience in implementing continuous improvement methodology across a global manufacturing and supply chain base. Complete understanding of ERP systems, preferably BaaN or SAP. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Some travel is required.
BUYER
Responsible for supply chain fulfillment for global key accounts. Manage customer demand requirements through ERP purchasing functions and web based customer demand portals.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required plus three to four years supply chain experience, preferably with international purchasing and planning. Negotiation, organization, Microsoft Word and Excel, MRP. Strong interpersonal skills.
CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE ~ 2 POSTIONS AVAILABLE
To act as a primary interface between HUBER+SUHNER, Inc., our customers, representatives, and distributors. Responsible for technical and commercial support in securing orders and servicing accounts. Candidates must be proficient in MS Office Products.
Qualifications: BA or Associate’s Degree in Business, Engineering and/or three to five years experience in a customer service environment. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced office environment. Some travel may be required.
